Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare patient rooms, offices, and common areas with care and attention to detail
- Pull linens, make beds, and ensure rooms remain clean and comfortable
- Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with hospital standards
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness and safety
- Empty trash and maintain sanitary conditions throughout the facility
- Sanitize restrooms and high-touch areas to help prevent the spread of infection
- Respond to cleaning requests and support additional housekeeping tasks as needed
- Work collaboratively with hospital staff to provide a welcoming and hygienic environment for patients and visitors
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30–50 lbs
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move for 8-hour shifts
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Weekend availability is required
- Must pass a background check
- Must be able to follow safety and cleanliness protocols consistently
- Ability to work day, evening, night, or mid-shifts as needed
Requirements
- No prior housekeeping experience required — paid training starts day one
- Strong work ethic with a focus on reliability and attendance
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
