The new Downtown Wichita KS apartments in the Delano Catalyst project have been named “225 Sycamore”
When the project is completed, the largest part will be a 204-unit apartment complex.
Tenant amenities include courtyard with a pool, grills and fire pits, a 1-level garage, fitness center, and clubhouse.
Onsite businesses – a bike shop, salon and a co-working space. These businesses are available to tenants as well as the general public.
Another prominent part of the Delano Catalyst Project is a 95-unit hotel. This structure will be built right across the street.
I remember walking around the Wichita RiverFest and Downtown area starting in the 80’s
I have loved watching the development and revitalization of Downtown Wichita throughout my lifetime. With initiatives like the Delano Catalyst Project, Wichita is competing to attract top-talent. Talent that may have not considered our city in the past.
The new Delano Development is one of many downtown Wichita Projects that have been created since the year 2,000. Developments like this bring elements of more expensive cities into our much more affordable market.
I am looking forward to the completion of 225 Sycamore and the rest of the Delano Catalyst Project. I can’t wait to see what great downtown Wichita developments are going to be created next.
