Hospital Cook Responsibilities

$16.25/hr + Shift Differential (up to $21.00/hr)

As part of the hospital foodservice team, Hospital Cooks will:

• Prepare, cook, and portion meals following hospital dietary guidelines
• Perform food prep and tray line preparation
• Follow standardized recipes and production schedules
• Assist with plating and meal assembly
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and work areas
• Follow food safety, infection control, and sanitation standards
• Stock food, supplies, and ingredients as needed

Hospital Host Responsibilities

$15.00/hr + Shift Differential (up to $19.75/hr)

As part of the hospital foodservice team, Hospital Hosts will:

• Transport and deliver patient meal trays throughout the hospital
• Support tray line operations and meal service
• Communicate with patients and hospital staff during meal delivery
• Maintain cleanliness of carts, service areas, and equipment
• Follow food safety, infection control, and sanitation standards
• Stock carts, service areas, and supplies as needed

Hospital Foodservice Qualifications

• Hospital Cook: 6+ months cooking experience preferred
• Hospital Host: No experience required
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow hospital food safety and sanitation procedures
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Weekend availability required

(Saturday & Sunday shifts offer a $3.25/hr shift differential)
