About the job
Role Overview
If you’re a Mechanical Engineer who enjoys seeing your designs come to life—from concept to real-world application—this is an opportunity to work on advanced CNC and automated machine systems that are actively being built and used.
In this role, you’ll be hands-on across the full product lifecycle. You’ll help design, test, and bring complex mechanical systems to life while collaborating with a highly technical team in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
We’re looking for someone who is confident in SolidWorks 2021, enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, and thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and develop complex electromechanical systems used in advanced CNC and automation
- Build and refine 3D CAD models and detailed drawings in SolidWorks 2021
- Analyze and improve designs using tools like FEA
- Work on hydraulic, precision, and heavy-load mechanical systems
- Collaborate with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams to bring systems to life
- Develop and run test plans to validate performance and reliability
- Support machine builds, installations, and real-world implementation
- Maintain clear and organized engineering documentation and revisions
What We’re Looking For
- Experience using SolidWorks 2021
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- At least 2 years of experience designing mechanical or automated systems
- Strong understanding of assemblies, tolerancing, and system integration
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team setting
What Will Set You Apart
- Experience in CNC, machining, or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with MasterCAM or similar CAM software
- Background working with production-scale or high-volume systems
What You’ll Get
- Competitive pay: $85,000–$120,000+ depending on your experience
- Flexible schedule that supports work-life balance
- Profit sharing so you benefit from the company’s success
- Phantom equity opportunities to grow with the business long-term
- Paid time off, extended time off, and holidays
Why This Role Stands Out
This isn’t a sit-behind-a-desk engineering role—you’ll see your work move from CAD to the factory floor. You’ll be part of a small, high-impact team where your ideas matter, your work is visible, and your growth can accelerate quickly.
