About the job

Are you a hands-on Recruiting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, staffing environment? We’re looking for a driven leader to build and lead a recruiting team, implement scalable systems, and help grow one of the region’s most dynamic staffing agencies.

This role is your chance to step into a key leadership position where recruiting, talent acquisition, and workforce management intersect—with direct impact on business outcomes and lives changed every day.

Why This Role Stands Out

This is more than just managing recruiters. It’s about building something from the ground up—scaling recruiting operations, creating efficient processes, and leading people with heart and hustle. You’ll work alongside ownership and help shape strategy as we grow.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Coach: Supervise a team of recruiters and support staff. Create a performance-driven, mission-aligned culture.
  • Own Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding for both internal staff and temp field employees (light industrial, warehouse, hospitality, and more).
  • Optimize Processes: Build and refine KPI-based recruiting workflows, systems, and pipelines to ensure quality and speed.
  • Drive Performance: Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, retention) and report insights weekly to leadership.
  • Partner with Leadership: Collaborate on hiring forecasts, workforce planning, and strategic initiatives across departments.
  • Be Hands-On: This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role. You’ll jump in to meet goals, model best practices, and learn the operation end-to-end.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition—especially in high-volume, blue-collar, or on-demand labor environments
  • 3+ years of team leadership or recruiting management experience
  • Experience with staffing ATS systems, recruiting automation, and KPI reporting
  • Strong process-building skills and operational thinking
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and accountability mindset
  • A natural builder who thrives in scaling environments and isn’t afraid to start from scratch

Why Join Us

  • A high-performing team with a mission to make a difference
  • Ownership opportunities in systems, strategy, and team development
  • Fast growth = real upward mobility
  • Competitive base salary ($80K–$100K)
  • Health, dental, vision insurance
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • In-office team culture—energy, collaboration, and speed

Qualifications

  • Experience:
  • 3+ years in recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing
  • Bonus: Experience in high-volume, blue-collar, or fast-paced environments
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proven ability to create and implement systems and KPI-based recruiting processes
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and exceptional communication
  • Systems-thinker with strong organizational skills
  • Leadership qualities aligned with servant leadership principles
  • Cultural Fit:
  • Passion for purpose-driven work and making a real impact in people’s lives

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, staffing environment
  • Comfortable with data reporting, KPI tracking, and using metrics for decision-making
  • Willing to be hands-on and jump into operations as needed
  • Looking for candidates eager to build and lead with structure and heart
  • Willing to commute or relocate to Wichtia Kansas
