Welder

We are seeking a highly skilled Welder to join our team immediately in Wichita, KS. This is a fast-paced, high-priority opportunity for an experienced professional who is comfortable working on prototype parts and collaborating with engineers to improve welding quality and processes. Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on prototype parts and small-batch production
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols for accurate builds
• Collaborate with engineers to refine welding plans and processes
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of welded parts
• Assist in developing and documenting welding methods
• Support testing of newly welded components for quality and safety
• Maintain welding tools and equipment and follow all safety protocols

Qualifications

• Proficient in MIG/TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and various metals
• Skilled in welding in multiple positions, including overhead
• Experienced in prototype work with precision tolerances (+/- 1.5mm)
• Ability to weld using a BLUCCO weld table with or without tooling
• Strong blueprint reading and symbol interpretation skills
• Knowledge of quality control processes and part inspection

Requirements

• Proven experience or certification in welding (MIG/TIG)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable working closely with engineers to improve quality and efficiency
• Willingness to learn new welding techniques and adapt to evolving tools
• Must be able to work 8- or 10-hour day or evening shifts
