Wichita Jobs in Recession – 2015
According to the Kansas Department of Labor, there are approximately 6,000 fewer people working in the Wichita metro in August, 2015 than the previous year.
In contrast, the Non-Farm survey, which draws information from employers instead of households, states that Kansas private-sector jobs are up by 6,300 while government jobs are down by 3,300 statewide.
